I  am CHEMUTAI CALVIN  FOURTH YEAR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING STUDENT AT CIT-MAKERERE UNIVERSITY
Most students in Uganda secondary schools have continuously failed chemistry subject due to lack of enough resources like teachers, textbooks and others.
Therefore we decided to come up with a desktop game application that will help students on how to improve their skills in writing chemical equations,we look forward to start with having the application used by one school first then after expand the usage of the game application to other schools.

i am one of the chemical reactors’ game team  ,below are my contributions towards the project

  • i took part in the coming up of the idea of the chemical reactors’ game desktop application
  • I contributed towards requirements collection. we carried out some interviews and also use questionnaire technique to gather data.
  • I contributed towards requirements document generation. This task started with us the team members brainstorming of the different functionalities that the system should have.
  • I also took part in ensuring the the agreed on requirements were concise, complete and unambiguous.
  • i was fully part in coming up of the chemical reactors’ game  proposal that provides in detail the various tasks we plan to undertake to fulfill our research objectives and to obtain answers to our research questions  (It is a written plan of an intended project specifying what the structure of the project will be)

attached below is our concept paper that briefly identifies the problem and the objectives and way forward for chemical reactors’ desktop  game application.BELOW IS THE ATTACHMENT OF THE CHEMICAL REACTORS’ CONCEPT PAPER

we when ahead to come up with the proposal for the chemical reactors’ game after the idea was accepted ,this proposal majorly helps us is to detail the operational plan for obtaining answers to our questions . In so doing it ensures and reassures the reader of the validity of the methodology for obtaining answers to our research questions accurately and objectively (fairly). and also to ensure that we  have a satisfying experience with our project.BELOW IS THE ATTACHMENT OF THE CHEMICAL REACTORS’ PROPOSAL

after the proposal writing we proceeded to writing the requirements document which is important in such away that usually specifies what the user expects the software to be able to do.BELOW IS THE ATTACHMENT OF THE CHEMICAL REACTORS’ REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT.
